Lofton B. Odom is a Shareholder with Jones and Kolb. He began his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (now PwC) in 1974 then moved onto BDO where he was made a Partner before finally coming to Jones and Kolb in 1991. Lofton is a tax specialist who focuses on assisting businesses, individuals and estates and trusts with tax advisory and planning services.
Lofton is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from which he received the designation of Personal Financial Specialist. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia where he earned his B.B.A. and Master of Accountancy degrees.
Born and raised in Americus, Georgia, Lofton now lives in Sandy Springs with his wife and has two grown daughters. He is a member of the UGA Alumni Association and enjoys watching and attending UGA football games.
