G. Bliss Jones, CPA, CGMA, is a Shareholder with Jones and Kolb. With over 40 years of experience, Bliss specializes in providing accounting, auditing, and advisory services to privately-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining Jones and Kolb in 1986, his background includes an accounting position with an international accounting firm, and the CFO of a public company.

Bliss is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA), and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN).   He is also a member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Advisory Council. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to not-for-profit organizations, and financial and tax matters. Bliss is the Firm’s coordinator of the Tax-Exempt Association (TEA) Group, a monthly networking group formed in coordination with the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE) and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN). In this role, he leads discussions about accounting, tax, and managerial issues facing financial and administrative professionals with local not-for-profit organizations.  

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from Georgia Tech and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia. Bliss actively participates in several social clubs, including the Piedmont Driving Club and the Atlanta Yacht Club. He serves as the Treasurer of the Allatoona Canoe and Sailing Club, as the President of the Spalding Woods Swim and Tennis Club, and as a Board member of G.R.A.C.E. Scholars. 

Bliss enjoys spending time with his family and dance activities.
