Ann Thompson, CPA is the Managing Shareholder of Jones and Kolb.  Ann began her career with the Firm as an entry level staff associate in 1986 and she became the Firm’s Managing Shareholder in 2005. In addition to leading the Firm, Ann specializes in providing auditing, accounting, and advisory services to not-for-profit organizations and closely-held businesses. She also provides planning services for trusts, estates, and high net worth individuals. Ann is experienced in the areas of estate planning and its surrounding disciplines, including fiduciary income tax compliance, trust and estate accountings, and estate administration.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Ann earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and she is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Ann is active in several civic and community organizations, and she is a Board member and serves the Treasurer of Page Turners Make Great Learners. The mission of this not-for-profit organization is to encourage children to explore the joy of reading and open their imaginations through the world of books.  

Ann enjoys spending time with her family, especially while hiking and biking.
