Lofton B. Odom is a Shareholder with Jones and Kolb. He began his career with PriceWaterhouse & Co. (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers, PwC) in 1974 then moved on to BDO where he was made a Partner before finally coming to Jones and Kolb in 1991. Lofton is a tax specialist who focuses on assisting businesses, individuals and estates and trusts with tax advisory and planning services.
Lofton is a member of the Atlanta Tax Forum, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from which he received the designation of Personal Financial Specialist. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia where he earned his B.B.A. and Masters of Accountancy degrees.
Born and raised in Americus, Georgia, Lofton now lives in Sandy Springs with his wife and has two grown daughters who followed in their dad’s footsteps and went to work in accounting firms. He is a member of the UGA Alumni Society and enjoys watching and attending UGA football games.
