Ann Thompson, CPA is Jones and Kolb’s Managing Shareholder. Ann started her career as an entry level associate with the firm in 1986 following her college graduation. She now helps lead the firm and provides auditing, accounting and advisory services to not-for-profits and assists closely-held businesses, high net worth individuals, estates and trusts with tax and business advisory services.
Ann is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a B.B.A. in Accounting. She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), in addition to being active in several civic organizations.
A native of Athens, Georgia, Ann now calls Dunwoody home with her husband, two children, a labrador named Bailey and a guinea pig named Hermione. She loves spending time with her family hiking, biking and sometimes just hanging out. She also has a little bit of a silly side, as each year she and her space fanatic son celebrate Star Wars Day (May the 4th Be With You).
